* I’m saying “we” when I really mean “I”… geez!
Here goes...
5. It’s the best way to avoid putting people to sleep out of sheer boredom. (Sorry folks! hehe)
4. It prevents us from saying stupid things that might alienate others, or worse, expose best-kept secrets.
3. It puts a stop to all negative comments that hurt others, friends and foes alike.
2. It gives us more time to think… or do more important things. Talking about nonsensical stuff just wastes precious time.
1. It saves saliva. (That’s right, I saved the best for last. Hahaha)
So, F&Fs (friends & foes), here’s the challenge: if you hear me spouting baloney (mmm!), send me a copy of my own list... that should jog my memory.
I ran across this old blog entry while "cleaning up" my multiply inbox. I'm reposting this as a gentle reminder to myself that keeping my mouth shut also involves laying off my keyboard once in a while. Or at least sparing other people the misery of reading about my lame escapades. This might be my last blog entry for now. I'll try to "keep mum" in the next few weeks and avoid feeding too much info to the sharks. hehehe. See y'all later.
Reasons why we shouldn't keep our mouth shut:
ReplyDelete1. It makes our breath smell bad.
2. "Those who have the ability to take action has the responsibility to take action."
Hehehehe.
Hehehe, reminds me of the song My Stupid Mouth
ReplyDeletengano diay mist, what happened? :)
hahaha. makes sense. i still say action speaks louder than words... which could be interpreted to mean that we should do something instead of just talking about it. what do ya think? i forgot to mention we can find a better use for our saliva. fill in the blanks. :P
ReplyDeleteluv that song riz! hehehe. what happened? LOTS! maybe i'll tell ya about it the next time we meet. =) needless to say, some mouths (including mine) went into overdrive and... well you can probably guess what happened -- CONFLICT! oh well, part of life and all that. live and learn!
