Los Angeles (E! Online) – Good thing the Lakers were playing out of town tonight.
Staples Center fixture Tobey Maguire welcomed a son Friday, his second child with jewelry-designer wife Jennifer Meyer.
"I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today and the family is healthy and happy," Maguire's rep tells Us Weekly.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2007, are also parents to 2-year-old daughter Ruby Sweetheart.
"I'm really excited about two, so we'll see what happens from there," Meyer told E! News in February. As for Ruby, she says the first-born Maguire child seemed "really excited."
"She's loving it. She's really into the belly and it growing and her baby dolls. Ruby's not really jealous. She just loves being around people, and this will be like having another little playmate."
...sigh.
